TK®-THERM thermal insulation

TK®-THERM is designed for interior use as an insulation material, the unique properties of which significantly enhance thermal comfort in the room while lowering heating costs. In rooms where the perimeter walls have been treated with TK®-THERM, the temperature of these walls is clearly significantly higher than that of interior walls at first touch. As TK®-THERM can be coloured using acrylic paints, you gain a high-quality surface finish for your perimeter walls that can also be colour-matched with the other walls.

TK®-THERM – TECHNICAL DATA

• Breathable and washable to some extent. The diffusion resistance value for water vapour (p = 30) is only slightly higher than with regular lime plaster.
• Can be painted over with water-based paints.
• Practical experience has shown that it reliably removes the problem of condensation in problematic places with thermal bridges such as lintels and the anchor points of beams and metal elements built into a building.
• Prevents water-vapour condensation and guarantees that treated wall surfaces remain dry, also preventing mould and thus creating an anti-allergenic environment.
• Can be applied to interior surfaces like classic plasters, concrete, gypsum plaster, plasterboard, prefabricated panels, wood and its by-products, metal surfaces, glass and many others. Can be used to thermally insulate pipes operating at temperatures of up to 150 °C.
• The surface can be sanded and painted after hardening. When dry, it does not smell, is not harmful to health and it does not emit any chemicals when drying.
• When used on structures with increased thermal conductivity, for example sheet metal structures, efficiency is significantly improved.
